The purpose of this contract was to supply and install a 2800 kW generator set with accompanying paralleling switchgear, in a WP enclosure. This project included paralleling the new generator with the utility company. Tie-ins to the existing SCADA system were also required. Our team was also responsible to furnish foundations & barrier wall in the WQCP.

Letter of Recommendation

National Electrical Systems, Inc. managed this contract from their headquarters in Upstate New York. Key management personnel conducted site visits before construction began, our on-site electrical Superintendent from NY was on-site throughout the construction period and our employees were responsible for the majority of the construction work with subs performing most of the civil work.

 

Schedules and work plans were developed for National Electrical Systems, Inc. personnel and their sub-contractors. Utilizing local subcontractors reduced travel and housing costs, another key ingredient to project success.
