The purpose of this contract is to provide sampling, testing, draining, removal, transportation, and disposal of large quantities of oil and electrical equipment.
9438 - Pinnacle Peak Substation - US Dept. of Energy - Western Area Power Administration - Arizona
Remove all existing gaskets and replace them with new gaskets for large power transformer that was in extremely bad state of repair. Processed approximately 30,000 gallons of oil. Performed test of Power Factor, TTR, DGA oil test, and polarity, ratio, and saturation tests on all CTs. Provided documentation of vacuum readings, oil temperature and fill pressure.
9437 - Oahe Dam - US Army Corps. of Engineers - South Dakota
NESI’s Project Management team coordinated to Perform external and internal inspections and assessments of 4 transformer banks (Total of 10 transformers) to include oil testing. Created and provided a report of assessing each transformer’s condition and then proposed solutions to rehab the transformers. Supplied and installed all protective devices.
9436 - Olinda Substation - Dept. of Energy - Western Area Power Administration - Cottonwood, California
The scope of work included the degasification of insulating oil, dry-out, of and minor repairs to Olinda Reactor.
