9390 - Bonesteel Substation - Dept. of Energy - Western Area Power Administration - South Dakota

Provided all labor, equipment, supervision, project/administrative management support in construction of an electrical switchyard for Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration.



Completed all civil work inclusive of surveying, excavating, embankment, gravel surfacing, trenching, concrete pillars/foundations, drainage, and seeding. Installed conduit, cable, conductors, terminations, steel structures, transmission line steel pole structures, power breakers, disconnect switches, coupling capacitor voltage transformer, current limiting series reactor, shunt capacitor bank, voltage transformer, miscellaneous outdoor electrical equipment and buss. Installed area security fencing around the entire switchyard. Assisted with required testing and commissioning.
